Following is a provisional list of reviewer’s biographies for the Open Portfolio Review at PhotoPlus Expo 2016.

Brenda Armendariz
Brenda Armendariz is the Deputy Photo Editor at Woman's Health magazine. Before this appointment she worked at Glamour, "V" and Conde-Nast Brides.

Robert Bacall
Robert Bacall represents global media content providers, including some of the worlds top photographers, CGI specialists and video production services for advertising, editorial, web content, client industrials and trade show visuals. They all have a unique style, vision & specialties, including food, still life, digital imaging, kids, seniors, portraiture, fashion, beauty, architectural, location, travel & lifestyle photography. We provide imagery for advertising, internet, editorial, sales promotion, packaging, education, & publishing markets. Sharon Ber
Graphic Designer and Art Director with 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. Featuring design work with well-known brands PDN (Photo District News), WWD (Women's Wear Daily), Kenneth Cole, Betsey Johnson and BCBG Max Azria.

Sherrie Berger
Photography Consultant Sherrie Berger is a creative collaborator with expertise in entertainment and high-end celebrity portraiture, documentary and fine art photography, production, marketing and public relations. She conducts workshops and works one-on-one with photographers designing and implementing successful career strategies, producing photo shoots, creating marketing and publicity campaigns for exhibitions, photography events and special projects. Previously she headed up the west coast photo department for ABC Television, and subsequently, the high-end celebrity portraiture division of Corbis, an international stock and syndication agency. John Berthot
John Berthot is the principle at Focus Consulting Services, founded to meet the ever increasing needs of photographers looking to obtain assistance with the business of photography. He has extensive experience editing portfolios for both the advertising and editorial markets, establishing effective marketing strategies and facilitating estimating and negotiating of assignments for photographers worldwide. Prior to Focus Consulting, he worked as a sales manager for Photonica, sales director at Magnum Photos, an agent for Utopia as well as Stockland Martel. Jean Borrie
Jean Borrie was the Photo Editor at ForbesLife, Essence and More Magazines and is now a Freelance Photo Editor. An experienced Photo Editor & Producer with 20 years experience, Jean has expertise in fashion, celebrity, still-life, travel and food photography. Experience includes working at luxury lifestyle publications, women's fashion/lifestyle & travel magazines producing and art directing large scale international & domestic shoots. Jean has worked with some the most eminent photographers currently shooting.

Alexandra Bortkiewicz
Alex Bortkiewicz is Lead Curator at Alamy, a leading, global stock photography resource. Prior to Alamy, Alex worked for Getty Images as a photo editor and art director. She now curates collections and galleries for Alamy and is an expert on trends in photography. She works with a diverse range of photographers, proactively developing their Alamy collections, as well as sourcing new and emerging talent. Kacy Burdette
Kacy Burdette is the online photo editor for Fortune. She handles images for Fortune's site, social, magazine and for Fortune’s many franchises including the Fortune 500. Susan Carolonza Chanin
Susan Carolonza Chanin is a founder of Mother Image, a boutique photo agency specializing in authentic lifestyle photography and video for assignment and stock representation. She has been Director of Photography for Getty Images NY, Liasion Agency, and Director of Creative Development for Getty Images. She is currently Creative Consultant for Avanti Press and is interested in seeing both commercial and personal projects.

Mea Cole Tefka
With my role as an Executive Producer, I connect brands with audiences to build relationships through content, live experiences, and social media. Being a team leader at multiple global advertising agencies, I’ve had the good fortune to create successful campaigns for clients including Facebook, Procter&Gamble, Cap’n Crunch, and more. Jessica Fuller is an acquisitions and project editor of illustrated books for Rizzoli International Publications, Inc., for more than fifteen years, specializing in a wide range of subjects including photography, architecture, art, street culture, and subculture. Her titles include Out of the Box: The Rise of Sneaker Culture, Chris Ware's Monograph, Shepard Fairey’s Covert to Overt, #girlgaze by Amanda de Cadenet: JR's Inside Out, and Cool: Style, Sound, and Subversion. Jessica is also the Art Editor of Conjunctions literary magazine and a member of LaVelle & Co., a women’s collective that nurtures face-to-face peer relationships between women from wide-ranging industries and backgrounds.

Angelika Hala
Angelika Hala is the New York photo editor and producer for the German magazine stern and the magazine group’s publications VIEW and CRIME, and special editions and book projects. For more than 15 years, she has produced photo features with award-winning photographers as well as helped develop new talent. Angelika enjoys the process of creating photographic narratives in close cooperation with the photographer from single images to multi-page magazine spreads. Jeana Hong Oh has cast, location scouted and produced print, interactive and TV advertising campaigns for fashion and luxury brands such as CBS, Coty, The Gap, Kipling, Mercedes-Benz, Nautica, NBC and Samsung in 9 countries. She has acquired almost two decades of hands on experience in art buying and creative services as the client, ad agency and photographer channels. Holly Hughes
Holly Hughes is the editor-in-chief of Photo District News Magazine, named to the Chicago Tribune’s list of the 50 Best Magazines in 2005. Holly and her editorial staff have won five Neal Awards for Outstanding Editorial Achievement from American Business Media. A graduate of Yale University, Holly has lectured widely on artists’ rights, copyright issues, and the business of photography. John Kenney has spent his entire career guiding and supporting talented artists: both photographers and directors to successfully translate their work into the commercial world. Previous to this role, Gillian worked in the photo department at Entertainment Weekly magazine and at Niche Media. Miriam Stein Battles
As a photo editor specializing in nature, travel and education, Miriam has worked on magazines, books and websites. She is currently the photo editor for Ocean Geographic Magazine. Combining her conservation background with her photo professional skills, she’s worked for nonprofits such as National Geographic Society, Conservation International and The Nature Conservancy and freelanced extensively for over a dozen clients including Apple, AARP and National Geographic Books. She photo edits nature, travel, culture and educational projects, both researching photos that best illustrate text and ensuring selected photos create the most visually dynamic product. Bernadette Tuazon
Bernadette Tuazon is the Head of Photography at CNN Digital. She is responsible for overseeing the CNN Photos blog, editorial assignments and is part of the creative team exploring new ways of storytelling through still imagery. She comes to CNN from the Associated Press, where she worked for 24 years.

Ami Vitale
Nikon Ambassador and National Geographic magazine photographer Ami Vitale has lived in mud huts and war zones, contracted malaria, and donned a panda suit—all in keeping with her philosophy of “living the story.” She has traveled to more than 90 countries, bearing witness not only to violence and conflict, but also to surreal beauty and to the enduring power of the human spirit. Recently, she has turned her lens to compelling wildlife stories, such as returning critically endangered captive born species, like the giant pandas back to the wild and attempts to save the last living northern white rhinos from extinction. Based in Montana, Vitale is a contract photographer with National Geographic magazine and frequently gives workshops throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.

She is a well known consultant in the photo industry and has been a Picture/Visual Strategist, Creative Director and Consultant to artists, photographers, and other art-based businesses in the advertising, editorial assignment, and fine-art marketplaces. Allegra is a recognized photography industry authority on the agent/artist relationship, marketing for artists, agency and talent branding, picture strategy and image editing.
