Welcome to the Palm Springs Photo Festival Community Site.

As the Director of the festival, I’ve been looking for several years for the right way to extend the passion and excitement of the festival itself throughout the year for our attendees, faculty and sponsors.  One day in late summer, our Workshop Adviser, Zoe Wiseman came to our offices to show us her new community Zoe site.  I realized that the software framework she demonstrated was finally what would allow us to build a new kind of serious portal for the PSPF Community.

All you need to do is to join by clicking the SIGNUP button.  You’ll receive a confirmation email with a link inside – just click that link and you’ll be invited to set up your profile on our Community.  Once done, you can join any conversation in any of the blogs on our site – add your comments, open new comments and even create YOUR OWN blog on the PSPF Community site.  You can talk about your work, ask advise of your peers, or just stay in touch with people you met or will meet at the festival.  You can select to follow blogs by our sponsors, other attendees and our faculty to see what they’re up to and what they’re thinking and talking about.

We’ve set up the environment for you – we hope you’ll get engaged in our Community.  It’s the only one of its kind for photographers – and with your participation and enthusiasm, I’m hoping it will prove to be informative, valuable and an interesting resource for you.
